This introductory class teaches students the basics of slumping and fusing glass in a kiln. Each student will complete three projects: one slumping, one fusing, and one that combines slumping and fusing.
 

Class Content	Working safely with hot glass Glass compatibility What happens when glass heats/cools Kilns and accessories Slumping project Fusing project
Prerequisites	Glass cutting skills will improve the appearance of final work.
Class Size	2 - 4 students
Class Sessions	Two 3-hour sessions

Tools and Materials	GlassWear, etc. provides materials and use of all tools needed for this class.
Class Fee	$150 per student payable before or at the first class session. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a space.
